Founded in 2025 in the Yigilca district of Duzce, we are an independent non-governmental organisation. We follow the Local Action Group (LEADER) approach that has been applied across Europe for more than 30 years: decisions are made by the people who live on the land.
Our association is established under Turkish Law No. 5253 on Associations and the Associations Regulation, and fully meets its obligations regarding bookkeeping, general assembly, annual declarations and audits. Our activities are subject to the provisions of the Turkish Civil Code on associations.
We are also organised according to the LEADER / Local Action Group principles that form the basis of EU rural development policy: bottom-up participation, area-based strategy, cross-sectoral partnership, innovation, networking and cooperation. Project management, procurement, visibility and reporting follow the rules and procedures of IPARD and EU grant programmes.
In processing personal data we apply the principles of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) together with Turkish Law No. 6698 (KVKK), and our website follows WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility criteria.
We identify needs in the field and build the solution together with producers.
