2. Personal data we process
- Identity and contact data: full name, phone, e-mail, village/district
- Application content: the message and request submitted through the form
- Transaction security data: submission date and page information
- Visual data: photographs taken at events and published with consent
- Membership data: membership application and fee records (members only)
3. Purposes of processing
- Assessing membership, volunteering and cooperation applications
- Responding to requests, suggestions and complaints
- Sending event, training and publication announcements (with consent)
- Keeping records required under associations legislation
- Preparing activity reports and measuring impact (in anonymised form)
4. Legal basis and transfer
Data is processed on the bases of performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)), legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) or your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a)); and correspondingly under Art. 5 of Law No. 6698. Data is not shared with third parties except where legally required. Hosting and infrastructure suppliers act solely as data processors under a data processing agreement.
5. Retention period
Data is retained for as long as the purpose requires and for the limitation periods set out in applicable legislation; it is then deleted, destroyed or anonymised. Contact form records are kept for a maximum of two years.
6. Your rights
Under GDPR Articles 15–22 and Article 11 of Law No. 6698 you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Submit requests through the Data Subject Request Form or to info@yigilcayegder.org.tr; requests are handled within 30 days at the latest and free of charge.
7. Explicit consent statement (newsletter)
By completing the newsletter form you consent to your name and e-mail address being processed in order to send you announcements about the association's events, training, publications and news by electronic means. You may withdraw your consent at any time via the link in any message or by writing to us.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS (SSL certificate). Access to the admin panel is restricted by e-mail/password authentication and server-side authorisation rules. Form data is transmitted over an encrypted connection and can only be viewed by authorised board members.

10. International transfers
Where our hosting provider processes data outside Türkiye or the EEA, transfers are made on the basis of the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards.
